This is tragic.

I wonder if Kerby et al ever ask themselves what the purpose of school is?

It seems that they view it as a kind of social engineering for a 19th century industrial complex rather than nurturing creative innovators who can solve the challenges of their and future generations.

This is one of the many problems of standardisation within our public education systems that will only get worse under the newly appointed Education Secretary Betsy DeVos who holds a belief that education and teaching is a delivery system that it can be decontextualised, measured and scaled as if it were a factory.

A ticking timebomb for future generations that will have implications across our global society. As Trump would say, SAD!
