This is pure Akiva Goldsman.

I worked on the “Lost In Space” movie during the late 90s & the Goldsman penned script originally described the enemies at the start of the film as “Sino-Jordanians”.

It raised my eyebrows then and it seems that Goldsman is unable to hide his prejudice in plain sight.

Frankly, I’m surprised that Hollywood has let him get away with it for so long.

Shame about the new Star Trek series though.
