It’s refreshing to read an alternative narrative about personalised learning that hasn’t been hijacked by technocrats and recognises personalisation is something requiring interaction between a qualified human teacher & a learner rather than being de-personalised, scaled & mediated by a machine or technician.
You may be interested in this programme that was produced by the Canadian Teachers’ Federation & Alberta Teachers’ Association which looked at the issues around personalisation, standardisation, privatisation & datafication
I was also surprised to read about this initiative & values from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative given that they are investing in the exact opposite on the African continent.
One must wonder why they would propose such differences between continents?
