I enjoyed your poke at colonialism here & it reminded me of similar sentiments from Sugata Mitra in this interview I recorded with him

Of course, colonialism is not only responsible for much of the challenges now faced in designing an education to help present & future generations thrive in a transforming world but also for inculcating structures of oppression that we continue to replicate.

Considering what we believe education is for is the logical place to start when we consider design.
